From a satisfied buyer of the Millermatic 211 Auto-Set:
I just checked Millers site and there are a few posts from new owners of the Millermatic 211. All positive feedback. a couple guys even took it down to their local welding shop to let a pro play it and the were very impressed. And the auto set feature was very close for the material they were welding. There is also a couple of pics of the bead produced with machine on 1/4 inch steel. Thats pretty much what ive been waiting to hear im going to go ahead and order one.

From another Millermatic 211 owner:

Broke down and bought the Millermatic 211 yesterday. Got the machine and a cylinder. I put in for the cart with the intentions of a modify. Hooked her up to my 240 line today and gave her a test run. All I can say is WOW. Compared to the old mig I was using Its like night and day. I played around with some scrap exhaust pipes I had then dug up some 1/2 inch plate. Tried the Auto-Set feature and also tried manually. Auto-Set was real close, had to tone down the heat a little for the exhaust. Came with a spool of 30 so thats what i was using. ill probably get 24 for my exhaust projects. The only thing I was a little disapointed in was the cheep work clamp that came with it. Big ol MADE IN CHINA stamped right on it and it feels a little cheesy, But thats an easy fix. The other thing I noticed is they use 12 awg for the supply cord. I was expecting heavier like 8 awg or 6 with that 6-50 nema plug. I guess the 6/2 I ran to the outlet was overkill. Anyway the beads I ran today were way smoother spatter free compared to what Ive been doing with the other machine. Im pretty happy with the Millermatic 211.
Another Millermatic 211 customer says:

Im thinking that there is going to be one in my garage in the future. The Auto-Set works very well, on this one! All positive feedback. The only thing I was a little disapointed in was the cheep work clamp that came with it. Great for smaller projects, but can also handle bigger ones to. I will say, though, that I usually end up on the high side of the thickness marks... And the auto set feature was very close for the material they were welding. Hooked her up to my 240 line today and gave her a test run. Think the Millermatic 211 is a winner no doubt. If I'm going up side down, or doing something pretty special, I won't use it; but it's now what I use 95% of the time. Said it had the same arc qualities of the passport. Tried the Auto-Set feature and also tried manually. I'm a very happy Millermatic 211 owner. At first, I thought it was kind of a gimmick, and "what kind of **** that doesn't know how to set up a welder, would use this?" After having used it, though, it's really nice! Im thinking that there is going to be one in my garage in the future. For 3/16, I usually end up on the low side of the 1/4" range on the dial. It's really nice when you're switching between different thickness pieces on the same part, to be able to just turn one dial and already be dialed in on whatever thickness you're working with, now.
